Operation July Surprise Commenced...

by justmy2 @ 8/04/2004 12:04:00 AM

Just as John Kerry gears up for what is likely his most important speech ever, Reuters reports the following...

Pakistan Says It Captures a 'Most Wanted' Qaeda Man

Just as expected....

My first post on this blog linked to this 'planned' capture on July 11.

Flashback to July 11:
It should come as no suprise that Bush officials are pressuring Pakistan to catch Osama bin Laden or his top deputies before the election. But these authors claim that some even have a specific date in mind -- the middle of the Democratic convention.

While it is nice to have another terrorist of the streets, the blatant transparency of this administration is mind boggling.

BTW - Who writes headlines for Reuters these days, the RNC?

'Most Wanted' Al Qaeda man...

Hmmm..I wonder who I should assume they are talking about...

Not the man you are thinking of...

The Pakistani president said the arrested person is Tanzanian who is married to an Uzbek woman, and who is wanted by the United States," the station said.

Al Arabiya said the suspect may be Ahmed Khalfan Ghailani, a Tanzanian who is on the FBI's most wanted "terrorists" list for his alleged role in the 1998 bombings by al Qaeda of the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania.

How convenient? If this doesn't at least make you think,
I don't know what will.
